The CSIO Dublin (Concours de Saut International Officiel) is one of the most prestigious showcases on the annual equestrian calendar. This year, the event took place from August 14 to 18, and ‘Cornet Obolensky’, a horse available in our stallion catalog at Ovohorse & Ovoclone and featured in an open bid on the Ovohorse Auctions app, played a key role in the most significant achievement of the weekend.

A foal, born from the union of the aforementioned stallion, who was the European Champion in 2011, and ‘HH Azur’, broke the record at an auction by being sold for a total of 76,000 euros. Out of a total of 24 embryos auctioned, this amount was the highest and reaffirmed the importance of ‘Cornet Obolensky’ when looking for a top-quality competition horse.

In addition to having it in our extensive stallion catalog, there is currently an open bid where anyone with the Ovohorse Auctions app has the chance to bid on an embryo, a pregnant mare, or a born foal. The pairing is with Karenina, the direct daughter of the stallion L’Arc de Triomphe.

‘Cornet Obolensky’ was not the only key figure at CSIO Dublin. Several horses available at Ovohorse & Ovoclone were also auctioned for large sums of money, such as ‘Balou Du Rouet’ and ‘Emerald Van’t Ruytershof’, who were part of closed bids for 22,000 and 30,000 euros, respectively.
