SICAB, the International Horse Show, is the main event in the world dedicated to the Spanish Purebred Horse (PRE). It is a key reference in the international equestrian calendar and occupies the third place in socioeconomic importance in the city of Seville. This meeting brings together breeders, breeders and enthusiasts both national and international.
From Ovohorse and Ovoclone we are once again present at SICAB for the third consecutive year with a very innovative stand. As in past editions, we have an avant-garde and scientific space where our team of professionals will explain what the OPU-ICSI technique consists of to obtain more embryos per year. Following this line, you will be able to learn how we carry out the vitrification process of these embryos or how you can preserve the cell line of your favorite specimen to protect its genetics. In addition, this year you will have information available on two magnificent specimens of Purebred Spanish (PRE) for the OPU (follicular aspiration) technique with which Ovohorse works:
“Reliquary CH” is a dilute-coat stallion known for passing this characteristic on to his offspring. He stands out for his excellent air, a good physique and an exceptional character, aspects that make him stand out as an outstanding specimen. On the other hand, “Possessed VII” is a PRE with a brown coat and Carthusian lineage. This horse, from the Yeguada la Cartuja Hierro del Bocado, is a classic reference of the Purebred Spanish Horse of Carthusian Lineage. Born in 1982, son of “Habanero XI” and the mare “Poseída II”, “Poseído VII” is an emblematic horse at an international level. He was Champion of Andalusia in morphology and is recognized as one of the current fathers in the PRE breed. Their offspring include renowned mares such as “Fugaz III”, “Firme” and “Hermosa XLII”, having fathered a total of 112 foals, with fifteen of them born to PRE mares from the Yeguada Peralta.

SICAB is a wide-ranging event, encompassing a wide range of audiences. For six days, it offers competitions, social events, a training program and significant commercial activity. The event also has a notable media impact; a wide variety of media, from general to specialized and social platforms, cover the events before, during and after the Show.
The highlight of SICAB is the PRE World Horse Championship, a sporting competition that attracts participation from 67 countries where this breed is bred. In addition to this championship, the event hosts the finals of the ANCCE Cups, which cover disciplines such as Dressage, Cowgirl, High School, Carriage (Competition and Tradition), Working Horsemanship, Jumping and Amazon, along with exhibitions and equestrian shows.
