Calvados, who also competed at CSI 1.60m, has been extensively used as a stallion, showcasing his versatility with nearly 50 offspring competing at CSI 1.60m. Some of these offspring have also excelled in dressage or eventing.
Harmonie’s dam, Electra, is a KWPN mare and a direct daughter of Voltaire, the sire of the world’s #1 ranked stallion in 2024, Kannan GFE. Electra’s dam was a mare that competed at CSI 1.50m. Electra herself had an impressive career in international sport and breeding, producing nine offspring, six of whom competed internationally, along with an approved stallion, Sex-Appeal.
Another daughter of Electra, and thus Harmonie’s sister, Dametje van Liefhebber, produced three offspring. Two of her male offspring, sired by Berlin, are top competitors in ranking classes: Jericho with Ellen Whitaker (GBR) and Hiperbolics, who was exported to the USA.
