Description
Kannan GFE is one of the most influential and successful stallions in the world of showjumping. This son of the great Voltaire and Nimmerdor, another outstanding sire, possesses an ideal genetic foundation that propelled him to success both in sport and as a stallion.
Kannan enjoyed a highly successful international showjumping career, competing with French rider Michel Hécart and achieving remarkable results in top-level competitions.
Over the years, Kannan has maintained a strong presence in the WBFSH rankings. He has sired over 6,000 offspring, nearly 200 of which compete at CSI 1.60m or higher, and another 200 are approved stallions. Kannan passes on key traits such as power, precise jumping technique, carefulness, bravery, and a balanced temperament. His exceptional progeny include Nino des Buissonnets, individual gold medalist at the London 2012 Olympics, and Quabri de l’Isle, one of the world’s top showjumping horses, renowned for his performances in the Olympic Games and Nations Cups.
Kannan is particularly recommended for energetic and light mares.
