Tornado VS is a Holsteiner son of Toulon, one of the best sons of Heartbreaker, out of a mare by two of the great Holsteiner stallions: Contender and Corrado I. Tornado, together with his rider Armando Trapote, recently became the best national combination at the CSIO5* in Barcelona, completing all four rounds of the competition at 1.60-meter heights without faults.
In 2022, Tornado VS was the Spanish National Champion, alongside his rider. Furthermore, they achieved a crucial double clear in the 2023 European Championship, which secured Spain’s team qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where they became the most sought-after pair by the Spanish equestrian community. Tornado VS is now a member of the Spanish team, as he is considered one of the best showjumping horses both nationally and internationally.
Unfortunately, as a gelding, he has no offspring, but his clones will be able to produce foals, thus passing on Tornado VS’s genetics and quality.
