Sophie du Chateau


Daughter of the legendary Galoubet A, one of the finest Selle Français stallions, and of Javotte D, who descends from the renowned Ibrahim, Sophie du Château is a symbol in the world of show jumping. She competed up to 1.40 m, was a finalist at age 6, and achieved the highest PACE score in France in 2002. Retired at the age of 10, she was dedicated to breeding, producing 29 offspring, 23 of which reached international level, including champions such as Itot du Château (CSI 5*) and Sultan du Château (CSI 1.60 m). Her legacy continues through descendants like Kolea and Toscane, dams of CSI 1.70 m champions, ensuring her influence on elite equestrian sport for generations.
