Harmonie: A Mare with Elite French-Dutch Pedigree
Harmonie is the daughter of the stallion Calvados, a direct descendant of Uriel and the CSI 1.60m competitor Gold Rose, herself a daughter of the legendary Ibrahim—making Calvados the product of two classic Selle Français bloodlines.

Calvados, who competed at CSI 1.60m level, was widely used in breeding due to his exceptional versatility, having produced nearly 50 international CSI 1.60m competitors and several offspring also active in dressage and eventing.

On the dam’s side, Harmonie is out of Electra, a KWPN mare and direct daughter of the influential Voltaire (sire of Kannan GFE, No.1 in the 2024 global stallion rankings). Electra competed internationally and produced 9 offspring—6 of which competed internationally—including the approved stallion Sex-Appleal.

Harmonie’s sister, Dametje van Liefhebber, produced 3 offspring. Two stallions by Berlin are currently international competitors: Jericho (ridden by Ellen Whitaker, GBR) and Hiperbolics, exported to the USA.

● Harmonie competed up to CSI 1.50m with Leon Thijssen
● Classified as an elite mare
● Produced 3 foals before her sport career and 12 more after returning to breeding at age 12
