Glamourdale, double Olympic medalist in Paris, available on Ovohorse

From Ovohorse, and thanks to his recent victory at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, we bring you the greatest achievements of one of our best stallions: ‘Glamourdale’. This magnificent horse is not only at the top of international Dressage as one of the best horses currently in existence, but he is also available at our Marbella facilities to contribute to the improvement of the discipline.

‘Glamourdale’, born in 2011, is a KWPN stallion who has proven to be a true prodigy in Dressage. From his early years, he displayed unmatched gaits and abilities, which have translated into a series of major achievements throughout his career:

• First Steps
  In 2014, at just three years old, ‘Glamourdale’ was crowned champion at the KWPN Stallion Inspection, and also secured the title of reserve champion in the KWPN performance test of the same year. These early recognitions were just the beginning of a remarkable career.World Champion in 2018
  The year 2018 marked a major milestone in ‘Glamourdale’s’ career: he became World Champion at the World Young Horse Championship in Ermelo in the seven-year-old category. It was at this point that he captured the attention of the international equestrian community with his innate abilities.

  Victories in Herning and Riesenbeck
  In 2022, ‘Glamourdale’ reached the pinnacle of success once again by winning the Grand Prix Special and Freestyle at the World Championships in Herning (Denmark). With an outstanding score of 90.654% in the Freestyle, he solidified his reputation as one of the best Dressage horses of the moment. The following year, at the European Championship in Riesenbeck 2023, ‘Glamourdale’ added a bronze individual medal and a gold team medal to his collection.

  The Paris 2024 Olympic Games also witnessed the exceptional talent of this stallion, culminating in two bronze medals, one in the individual event and another in the team competition. These Olympic achievements cement his position as a leading figure in Dressage worldwide.
