With an imposing presence and an enormous stride, United Touch S has been named Show Jumping Horse of the Month for December 2024. This exceptional horse has once again proven his value and intelligence, clearing obstacles with remarkable ease. A standout figure in the equestrian world, his connection with his rider was key to earning this well-deserved recognition.
As Richard Vogel highlighted—who is amazed by United Touch S every day: “It’s a very, very special feeling. I’ve had the privilege of riding many good horses in my life, but he is exceptional. When he takes off from the ground, the power and reach are truly unique, and I’m very happy to be in his saddle.”
In a 2024 filled with success and celebrations, the pair won gold at the Longines League of Nations™ Final. Months later, horse and rider claimed back-to-back qualifiers in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ in Lyon (France) and Stuttgart (Germany).
It was at the rider’s home event, the Stuttgart German Masters, where they secured gold with a dramatic comeback. United Touch S’s jump-off time (41.39) was nearly three seconds faster than Denis Lynch’s Brooklyn Heights (44.37), who had been leading.
“I’m totally overwhelmed. United Touch S leaves me speechless,” Richard Vogel said after the competition.
Their winning streak continued at the Winter Equestrian Festival, where they took first place in the five-star Grand Prix in Wellington (USA). This special connection earned United Touch S the title of Horse of the Month.

United Touch S was bred in Germany by his owner, Julius Peter Sinnack. He comes from a prestigious line of Olympic-class show jumping horses. He is the offspring of the Westphalian stallion Untouched and the Holsteiner mare Touch of Class.
This impressive stallion began his international career in 2018 with Dutch rider Willem Greve. In 2022, he was set to compete with German rider Sophie Hinners, but it soon became clear that the chemistry between United Touch S and Richard Vogel, Hinners’ partner, was unmatched.
The connection and trust between Vogel and his star horse are extraordinary, allowing them to achieve remarkable success. In October, in Barcelona, a flawless double clear round by the duo helped Germany secure victory in the inaugural Final of the Longines League of Nations™.
A month earlier, in September, the pair shone in Calgary (Canada) by delivering another double clear to win the prestigious CSIO5* Cana Cup at Spruce Meadows, outperforming a field of top international competitors.
Future Plans for United Touch S in 2025: Key Competitions Ahead

The duo will continue to compete with the aim of seeing United Touch S named the top show jumping horse once again.
