Kannan GFE


Son of Voltaire and Nimmerdor, Kannan excelled in international competition and as a breeding stallion. With over 6000 offspring, he transmits power, technique, and bravery. His progeny includes stars like Nino des Buissonnets (gold in London 2012) and Quabri de l’Isle (Olympic and Nations Cup competitor).

Kannan GFE is one of the most influential and successful show jumping stallions in the world. A son of the great Voltaire and Nimmerdor, two exceptional sires, Kannan carries the perfect genetic makeup for sport and breeding.
He competed internationally with French rider Michel Hécart, achieving top results in elite competitions.
He continues to feature in WBFSH rankings. Kannan has sired over 6000 offspring, nearly 200 of which compete in CSI 1.60m and above, with about 200 approved stallions among them. He passes on essential traits such as power, precise jumping technique, respect for fences, bravery, and a balanced temperament. His notable offspring include Nino des Buissonnets (Olympic gold, London 2012) and Quabri de l’Isle, a top international show jumper. He is recommended for energetic and light mares.
