Harmonie

Harmonie is the daughter of the stallion Calvados, a direct descendant of Uriel and out of Gold Rose, a mare who competed at CSI 1.60m and was a direct daughter of Ibrahim—meaning Calvados descends from two Selle Français foundations.
Calvados himself competed up to CSI 1.60m and was widely used as a sire, having proven his versatility by producing nearly 50 offspring that reached the CSI 1.60m level, with others active in dressage or eventing.
Her dam, Electra, is a KWPN mare and direct daughter of the famous Voltaire, sire of Kannan GFE, currently the No. 1 stallion in the 2024 world rankings. Electra’s dam competed in CSI 1.50m.
Electra competed internationally and was also used for breeding, producing 9 foals—6 of which competed internationally—and one approved stallion, Sex-Appleal.
One of Electra’s daughters, and thus Harmonie’s sister, Dametje van Liefhebber, produced 3 foals, including two sons by Berlin who both compete at ranking level: Jericho with Ellen Whitaker (GBR) and Hiperbolics, exported to the USA.
Harmonie competed up to CSI 1.50m with Leon Thijssen and is considered an elite mare.
She produced 3 foals before her top-level sporting career and returned to breeding at 12, producing 12 more foals.
