Who is ‘Glamourdale’?
Born in 2011, ‘Glamourdale’ is a KWPN stallion who has proven to be a true prodigy in Dressage. From an early age, he demonstrated unique gaits and abilities, which have translated into a series of major achievements throughout his career.
- First steps
In 2014, at just three years old, ‘Glamourdale’ was crowned champion of the KWPN Stallion Inspection, as well as runner-up in the KWPN performance test of the same year. These early accolades were just the beginning of a great career. - World Champion in 2018
2018 marked a significant milestone in ‘Glamourdale’s career: he became World Champion at the World Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo in the seven-year-old category. It was then that he captured the full attention of the international equestrian community thanks to his natural talent. - Victories in Herning and Riesenbeck
In 2022, ‘Glamourdale’ reached the peak of success again by winning the Grand Prix Special and the Freestyle at the World Championships in Herning (Denmark). With an outstanding average of 90.654% in the Freestyle, he solidified his reputation as one of the best Dressage horses of the moment. The following year, at the 2023 European Championships in Riesenbeck, ‘Glamourdale’ added an individual bronze medal and a team gold to his record. - Medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
