Charites

Charites is not just a mare—she is a cornerstone in KWPN breeding and classical dressage. Born in 1984, her sport career was cut short due to injury, but her legacy transcends generations.
Charites is a foundational mare in both KWPN breeding and the history of dressage. Though an injury ended her competitive career early, her genetic legacy is unmatched. With a breeding index of 208, the highest among KWPN mares with competition offspring, she made history. She is the dam of Exquis Nadine, European medalist with Hans Peter Minderhoud, as well as several approved stallions and elite “preferent” mares. Charites is more than an exceptional broodmare—she is a symbol of genetic excellence in global equestrian breeding.
